Job summary

Red Hospitality & Leisure in Miami, FL seeks a seasoned accounting leader to own the monthly close, ensure GAAP compliance, and coach the accounting team. The role emphasizes process optimization and the smart application of AI/automation to reduce manual tasks.

You will partner with the CFO and cross‑functional leaders, manage audits, fixed assets, leases, and cross‑jurisdiction reporting, and drive strong internal controls while keeping information confidential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Active CPA license required.
• Experience with month‑end close across multiple entities or business units.

Responsibilities

• Owns monthly close across all business units ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Provides direct oversight of the accounting team with coaching and performance management.
• Leads process improvement initiatives and automation using AI/tools.
• Partners with CFO and leadership to assess profitability and variance drivers.
• Manages fixed assets, leases, and tax/compliance across jurisdictions.
