Director of General Accounting | Global Experience

We’re seeking a CPA-designated Director of General Accounting to lead core accounting functions including payroll, general ledger, accounts payable, global banking, and financial reporting. This hands-on leadership role requires someone with thick skin, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently while also being a strong backup for payroll operations.

What You'll Do

• Oversee month-end close, financial reporting, and audits
• Manage payroll operations and provide high-level support when needed
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and internal controls
• Supervise accounting, payroll, and disbursements staff
• Maintain global banking and credit card systems
• Partner with external tax advisors on corporate compliance
• International Payroll - including understanding of laws in many countries/ may process occasionally.

Ideal Candidate

• CPA required
• 10+ years in accounting leadership
• Experience in hospitality or service industries preferred
• International payroll exposure is a must
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Able to work with minimal direction in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
