Job summary

Connect Search, LLC is partnering with a rapidly growing Houston-based company to fill the Director of Corporate Accounting role. This is a high-impact opportunity for a CPA with strong corporate accounting and multi-entity consolidation experience who enjoys building processes, solving problems, and leading through growth.

The successful candidate will lead the full close, own multi-entity consolidations (including international entities and FX), oversee the GL and intercompany activity, and

Qualifications

• CPA required with strong corporate accounting expertise.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Extensive multi-entity consolidation experience.
• Experience with full close and consolidated financial reporting.
• International consolidation and FX experience preferred.
• Proven process improvement and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the corporate accounting function and full month-end/year-end close.
• Own multi-entity consolidations, including international entities and FX impacts.
• Oversee GL, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany activity, and consolidated reporting.
• Develop accounting policies, internal controls, and scalable processes.
• Partner closely with the CAO and executive leadership.
• Help integrate acquisitions and improve the accounting infrastructure of a rapidly growing organization.
• Lead and develop the accounting team.
• Drive ERP/reporting optimization in Infor SyteLine.

Connect Search is partnering with a rapidly growing company to identify a Director of Corporate Accounting for its Houston headquarters. This is a high-impact opportunity for a CPA with strong corporate accounting and multi-entity consolidation experience who enjoys building processes, solving problems, and leading through growth. The company has tripled in size in less than two years through acquisitions, growing from approximately 300 to 900 employees.
