Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

Responsibilities:

• Oversees the company’s accounting system, maintaining accurate records of all transactions and assets while ensuring compliance with established standards.
• Champions adherence to corporate accounting procedures, ensuring they align with GAAP, SAP, and applicable tax principles.
• Leads core accounting operations—including the general ledger, accounts payable, and receivable—while driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Establishes, enforces, and continuously refines internal controls and accounting policies to protect company assets and support organizational integrity.
• Conducts in-depth technical accounting research to evaluate new or complex transactions, documenting treatment approaches and rationale with precision.
• Manages the financial close process, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete financial statements.
• Directs the creation and delivery of financial reports, providing insightful variance analysis and ensuring all reporting deadlines are met.
• Coordinates the completion of annual audits and regulatory filings, delivering on time, within budget, and aiming for unqualified opinions.
• Evaluates the performance of the Accounting Department team, identifies development needs, and ensures staff maintain top-level skills aligned with evolving company objectives.
• Continuously monitors and recommends improvements to accounting procedures to drive greater efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.
