The University of Texas at Dallas seeks a Senior Director of the AccessAbility Resources Center (ARC) in Richardson to lead university‑wide accessibility services and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. This strategic role oversees a team and partners with IT, Educational Technology Services, and teaching centers to advance digital accessibility standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with ten years of work experience in related field.
• Master’s degree preferred; fourteen+ years of progressively responsible experience.
• Experience supervising and leading a complex team; 5+ years in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ARC strategic vision, align accessibility goals with institutional initiatives.
• Use assessment data to measure impact on student success and graduation rates.
• Serve as SME on ADA, Section 504/508, and Fair Housing Act.
• Oversee ARC operations: intake, exam administration, assistive technology.
• Manage budget and personnel; scalable workflows for increasing caseloads.
• Collaborate with OIT/EDU Tech to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
• Develop faculty training on accessible course design and accommodation scenarios.
• Mentor and evaluate a diverse team of accessibility professionals.
