Job summary

San Diego FC is seeking a Head of Academy Human Performance to lead medical care, rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, sports science, nutrition and mental performance for a fully funded residential academy. You will ensure players are healthy, available and prepared, while guiding growth and wellbeing across all age groups.

The role requires extensive experience in integrated performance and medical programs, and collaboration with academy leadership, medical staff and external partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, Sports Performance, Physical Therapy, Athletic Training, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and review the Academy Performance and Medicine strategy and annual plan, aligned to the Right to Dream development model and academy philosophy.
