Associations International seeks a Director of Academic Research to lead ICF's scholarly efforts, shaping a robust research agenda and turning findings into actionable coaching insights. You will oversee qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method studies across projects from conception to reporting.

The role requires a PhD/masters in IO psychology, publications, and 2+ years of research leadership with strong communication and data skills.

Qualifications

• PhD or master's in IO psychology with research emphasis.
• Multiple peer-reviewed publications or book chapters.
• Minimum two years of quantitative and qualitative research experience.
• Experience designing rigorous qualitative research with coding.
• Experience designing rigorous quantitative research (CTT, Rasch, factor analysis).
• Experience leading and managing other researchers.
• Understanding and experience in coaching.
• Strong written and verbal communication for reports and presentations.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.

Responsabilités

• Engage with leadership to identify research needs and set project priorities.
• Keep abreast of coaching industry and academic research trends.
• Leverage data and AI tools to develop innovative studies.
• Articulate a compelling project vision and motivate the team.
• Guide the Assistant Director and Research Specialist.
• Report to the VP of Research and Data Science.
