Amgen is seeking a Director of Scientific and Operations Intelligence, Obesity, to lead the integration of scientific and operational insights and to shape strategic priorities across R&D, Medical, Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Supply and related functions.

Qualifications
- Doctorate degree with 4+ years of relevant experience OR Masters with 7+ years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's degree with 9 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Build and sustain trusted relationships with senior leaders across R&D, Medical, Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Supply, and related Operations functions to understand evolving priorities, connect interdependencies, and shape the Insights & Analytics agenda.
- Serve as an agile problem-solving leader across the scientific and operations remit, rapidly deploying to the most consequential functional and cross-functional priorities rather than operating through fixed workstreams.
- Lead priority work end to end: define the decision and hypotheses; determine the analytical approach; mobilize the right data, capabilities, and experts; synthesize findings; recommend a course of action; and track impact.
- Integrate scientific and operational information into decision-ready views of options, dependencies, uncertainties, and trade-offs, including research prioritization, development choices, evidence generation, trial execution, supply capacity, and readiness.
