Overview
Promotes alignment and implementation of operational standards and policies across the system to ensure adequate resources are available for safe, effective patient care and promotion of a healthy work environment. Supports the Associate Chief Nurse Executive and leaders of Indiana University Health's nursing and patient care divisions. Works under the direction of the ACNE to design, implement and sustain system structures and processes including, but not limited to, global nursing resource acquisition and allocation across the system.
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing required. Masters in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
- Requires 7-10 years of relevant experience.
- Requires ability to facilitate and lead large, diverse, multidisciplinary work groups.
- Requires demonstrated results with large scale project management and multi-site operations.
- Requires demonstrated experience and excellence in coaching, collaborating and influencing.
- Requires executive presentation and communication skills.
- Requires ability to use diplomacy and tact and diffuse high-tension situations comfortably.
- Requires strong demonstrated transformational and complex, matrixed leadership skills (inspiring, problem solving, communication across multiple organizations, executing) to champion Leading to Preeminence.
- Strong communication and fosters relationships with all levels of employees, management and community leaders and a proven leader who is an effective, creative and visionary problem solver.
- Requires knowledge of applicable Federal, State and Local regulation guidelines and laws.
