Job summary

Vistra is seeking a Director of Digital Modernization to lead the portfolio of digital control, instrumentation, and modernization upgrades across its nuclear fleet, aligned with the Extended Power Uprate program. You will own strategy, capital execution, and ensure telemetry feeds to the Power Optimization Center for analytics and early fault warning.

Responsibilities include steering upgrades at Perry, Beaver Valley, and Davis-Besse, coordinating with OEMs and site teams, retiring legacy

Qualifications

• At least 12 years in nuclear or fossil power with increasing responsibility in engineering, projects, operations, or maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Own the digital modernization roadmap and capital portfolio for Perry, Beaver Valley, and Davis-Besse.
• Lead design and execution from scope through installation, testing, startup and turnover.
• Improve telemetry to POC for analytics and predictive maintenance.
• Retire legacy analog equipment and reduce single-point vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate with OEMs/EPc partners and ensure alignment with EPU program.
