Job summary

Vistra is seeking a Director of Digital Modernization to lead digital control upgrades across Perry, Beaver Valley, and Davis-Besse. You will own strategy and capital execution for Emerson Ovation DCS, GE Mark VIe, and I&C obsolescence retirement, coordinating with EPCs and field teams.

In this role, you will partner with Site Directors and OEMs to drive outages, ensure telemetry quality for analytics, and build a capable I&C talent pipeline while improving reliability and reducing lifecycle

Qualifications

• 12+ years in nuclear or fossil power with increasing responsibility.
• 5–7 years leading capital modification programs (digital I&C, DCS, turbines).
• Working knowledge of Emerson/Westinghouse Ovation or GE Mark VIe platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own the fleet modernization roadmap and capital portfolio across three sites.
• Lead design and execution with Site Directors and partners from scope to turnover.
• Optimize telemetry to support analytics and early fault detection.
• Build margin and modernize the sites by retiring legacy analog equipment.
• Develop digital I&C talent and represent Vistra in INPO/industry forums.
