Job summary

Arizona State University is seeking a Director of Network Engineering & Communications to lead strategy and operations for the campus network, voice technologies, and the Sun Corridor Network (SCN). You will report to the Executive Director and unite network, UC/telephony, and regional networking under one organization.

The role emphasizes authentic leadership, culture-building, and collaboration with campus partners across AZ's research community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and seven years of experience in the area, including two years in management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term strategy for campus network infrastructure and Sun Corridor Network.
• Lead cross-domain technical strategy and roadmap across Network Engineering, Voice Communications, and SCN.
• Represent engineering priorities in ET-wide planning and translate strategy into standards and operational practices.
• Oversee architecture, design, and operations of enterprise wired/wireless networks and related services.
• Direct budgeting, vendor management, RFPs, and service delivery for network and UC/telephony systems.
