Job summary

FIS is seeking a Director, Network Operations and Settlement to lead Keystone's bank-governed payment network. This hands-on role blends operating-model design with real-time execution, interfacing with participant banks, product, risk, finance, compliance, and legal to ensure safe, timely netting and settlements.

You will own the end-to-end settlement lifecycle, supervise liquidity management, authorise settlements, and build procedures, dashboards, and control frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in payment operations or settlement environments.
• 5+ years leading operational teams with high-value activity.
• Experience with daily net settlement and intraday liquidity.
• Strong knowledge of settlement accounts and reconciliation.
• Ability to communicate with banking and tech stakeholders.
• Experience designing controls and audit-ready procedures.

Responsibilities

• Define Keystone's network operations and settlement strategy.
• Oversee Netting Sessions and Fiat Settlement Periods.
• Coordinate intraday liquidity and capacity management.
• Lead onboarding and certification of participant banks.
• Develop SOPs, checklists, and auditable records.
• Respond to settlement incidents and disruptions.
• Collaborate with product, risk, finance, and legal teams.
• Recruit and develop a high-performing operations team.
