Job summary

NIRH is seeking a Director of Network Communications Strategy to drive strategic communications within the Communications Department and to align narrative work with NIRH's policy priorities. You will work across Campaigns, Partnerships, Policy & Research, and Communications to support both funded and unfunded partners and integrate efforts across departments.

The role leads on co-designing campaigns, delivering technical assistance, and embedding a race equity lens into all partnership work,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of messaging, press, and digital campaign experience.
• Understanding of policy communications and advocacy work.
• Experience in reproductive rights, health, or justice communications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Co-design communications campaigns around abortion coverage, Birth Justice, data privacy, and other core issues with partners (40%).
• Develop and integrate narrative strategy across Campaigns, Policy & Research, and Communications to meet campaign goals (40%).
• Lead partner-facing messaging and ensure alignment with overall comms efforts and cross-department collaboration (40%).
• Lead on special projects, build TA capacity, and integrate race equity into partnership processes (20%).
