Jobtailor is seeking an experienced engineering leader to own network capacity end to end—from planning and delivery to turn-up and lifecycle. You will build and scale the organization responsible for capacity automation and hire, develop and retain engineers and leaders.
You will set a multi-year technical strategy for capacity automation, convert manual processes into durable software, and partner across teams to align roadmaps and forecasts.
Own network capacity end to end, including planning, delivery, turn-up and lifecycle
Be accountable for capacity landing ahead of customer demand
Build and lead the organization responsible for network capacity automation
Hire, develop and retain engineers and engineering leaders; design team structure as the organization grows
Set the multi-year technical strategy for capacity automation
Convert manual processes into durable software and build a capacity pipeline that runs without heroics
Own operational standards for planning, reviewing, shipping, measuring and learning from capacity work
Manage through leads and senior individual contributors through 1:1s, performance feedback, growth planning and sponsorship
Partner with the Interconnect team on external connectivity
Partner with Principal Engineers and technical leadership on design, code quality and operational reliability
Partner with Infrastructure, Supply Chain, Data Center Operations, Product and Finance on roadmaps, demand forecasting and long-lead dependencies
Represent the organization's work and technical direction to senior leadership, enterprise customers and partners
Contribute to organization-wide engineering process improvements
Report to the VP of Cloud and AI Networking
Demonstrates expertise in engineering management, with a focus on building and scaling high-performing teams in cloud connectivity. Proficient in capacity automation, operational standards, and translating business goals into executable engineering plans.
