Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain, category management, or operations in complex manufacturing environments.
• Strong executive leadership with a track record of building high-performing sourcing organizations.
• Deep knowledge of supplier relationship management, category management, contract negotiations, and risk management.
• Experience with defense, regulatory supply chains, and government contracting (FAR/DFARS) is preferred.
• APICS/ASCM certifications (CPSM/CPM/CSCP) or equivalent are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the U.S. Navy strategic sourcing strategy aligned with corporate objectives and long-term growth.
• Establish sourcing governance, policies, controls, and accountability for compliance and excellence.
• Lead sourcing activities, supplier selection, negotiations, and risk management for Navy programs.
• Develop make-versus-buy strategies ensuring production continuity and capability readiness.
• Provide sourcing intelligence, market trends, and executive-level recommendations.
• Drive supplier segmentation, performance management, and relationships with strategic suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support audits and government reviews.
• Mentor and build a high-performing Strategic Sourcing organization.
