Job summary

Heven AeroTech, based in Washington, DC, seeks a Director of Business Development to drive the Navy/Marine Corps pursuit strategy. You will own the pipeline, shape requirements, and advance early engagements into production contracts while navigating Navy acquisition and budget processes.

This role requires a track record of opening doors at the right level, building lasting relationships with PEOs, and coordinating with engineering and product teams to align customer needs with the company

Qualifications

• 10+ years of business development, capture, or program experience supporting Department of the Navy customers.
• Demonstrated success turning OTA/prototype efforts into programs of record or major funding.
• Experience navigating Navy/Marine Corps acquisition processes and PPBE cycle.

Responsibilities

• Own USN/USMC BD strategy and pipeline from identification through capture and award.
• Convert OTA/prototype efforts into programs of record with transition planning and milestones.
• Develop relationships with PEOs and Marine Corps equivalents to align funding and requirements.
