Job summary

Red Circle Lodge seeks a Cultural Director to design, coordinate, and promote Native American cultural programs for staff and residents. You will guide ceremonial activities, advise on cultural resources, and support marketing and partnerships across the organization’s campuses near Zion National Park. A background in psychology or behavioral health with CADCII is preferred.

The role reports to the CEO and may oversee a culture team, with occasional weekend shifts and travel between locations.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining a CADCII and supervisory experience.
• Passion for making a difference in the lives of clients.
• Educational background in psychology, social work, counseling or behavioral health services; CADCII preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and promote cultural recovery programs for staff and clientele.
• Research and update cultural program resources and interests within the Red Circle community.
• Provide guidance with songs, dancing, ceremonial activities.
• Assist with marketing and partnerships including public information materials.
• Book and contract with cultural resources for services.
• Assist with annual calendar, and organize Fun Days.
• Supervise staff development in Cultural Competencies and Tribal interaction.
• May work varied shifts at Red Circle Lodge locations.
