• Manages the Section, setting national federal civil rights prosecution priorities, supervises an office of managers, trial attorneys, and support staff; coordinates with FBI, DHS, DOL, DOS, EEOC, local agencies, USAO offices, and NGOs; oversees a national civil rights training program for law enforcement.
• Supervises enforcement of federal criminal civil rights statutes; investigates and prosecutes civil rights violations under color of law, hate crimes, conspiracies, obstruction, false statements, and immigration/visa crimes.
• Directs case preparation from investigation through indictment, plea negotiations, trial, and sentencing; guides strategy and planning.
