Job summary

First Choice Services is seeking a Program Director to provide strategic leadership and oversight of the National 988 program and workflow. This role ensures high-quality crisis counseling and intervention, guides operational strategies, and manages resources.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or Addictions preferred
• Direct or indirect lived experience with behavioral health, SUD, homelessness, justice involvement or significant life challenges
• Clinical experience in behavioral health, crisis intervention, and/or suicide prevention

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement program strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Operations Management: Oversee daily operations and service delivery.
• Financial Management: Prepare and manage departmental budget and reports.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing staff; coach and mentor.
• Continuous Quality Improvement: Adhere to quality standards and drive process improvements.
