Job summary

Northeast Arc is seeking a Director of Support Centers to provide strategic, fiscal, and operational leadership across Autism and Family Resource Center programs. You will guide staff, manage DDS partnerships, ensure contract compliance, and drive high‑quality, person‑centered services across multiple communities.

This leadership role requires 5+ years in management, experience with ASD/ID/DD, strong facilitation and communication, and a willingness to travel for work-related trainings and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred in psychology, special education, human service management, or related field.
• Minimum five years of management and supervisory experience in family supports.
• Extensive experience supporting individuals with ASD, ID, and DD.
• Strong knowledge of service systems and supports for ASD/ID/DD; ability to navigate and help families access services.
• Leadership across multiple geographic locations with ability to mentor staff.
• Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, fiscal, and operational leadership across Northeast Arc's Support Center programs.
• Supervise Program Directors and Specialists, fostering collaboration and shared accountability.
• Oversee program growth, community engagement, and regional impact.
• Manage DDS partnerships, contract compliance, and resource coordination across locations.
• Lead financial analysis, policy development, and process improvement initiatives.
• Represent Northeast Arc at conferences, workshops, and meetings on behalf of the organization.
