The Aerospace Corporation in the United States seeks a Director for the Mission Engineering Department. The role leads architecture-focused teams, defines department strategy, and aligns efforts with customer needs and enterprise goals.

You will recruit, mentor, and manage staff while coordinating cross-functional activities across space, ground, and launch systems. A TS/SCI clearance is required, with travel expected.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or equivalent technical experience.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in engineering studies and analysis teams.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in space/ground/launch/operations.
• Experience hiring, mentoring, and developing staff.
• Ability to travel 15-25% and obtain TS/SCI clearance.
