Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an MED Associate Director to lead mission engineering efforts and mentor engineers across multiple programs. You will partner with customers and program offices to shape strategy and deliver results in space systems engineering.

This role requires a BS in a technical field or equivalent experience, 10+ years in space/defense domains, and a current TS/SCI clearance. On-site opportunities in El Segundo, CA or Chantilly, VA are available with telework options as

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in space, intelligence, or defense domains.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and programs.

• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Lead MED Associate Director responsibilities and mentor staff.
• Maintain robust relationships with peer organizations and program offices.
• Oversee multi-project execution, delivering key objectives to customers.
• Identify risks and gaps, advise on priorities, funding, and resourcing.
• Direct cross-functional teams across Aerospace, customers, and contractors.
• Drive capability development and department expertise.
