Job summary

ICON is looking for a Director of Construction for Military Construction (MILCON) Projects in Austin, Texas. This senior leadership role requires full ownership of MILCON construction projects, including accountability for performance, strategy, and team management.

The ideal candidate will be a highly autonomous and experienced leader, capable of driving strategic operations while ensuring compliance with government contracting standards. This position is critical for interfacing with government representatives and managing a nation-wide construction team.

Qualifications

• 15+ years construction management experience, especially in federal or military contexts.
• 8+ years managing MILCON projects as a prime or major subcontractor.
• Deep knowledge of FAR, DFARS, UFC, UFGS standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all MILCON project performance and compliance.
• Lead a national team of construction professionals.
