VisionFund International, the microfinance arm of World Vision, seeks a Director of Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) to lead the design and execution of measurement across its global network. The role emphasizes evidence-building, client voice, and strategic fundraising measurement partnerships.

The post holder will shape the MERL function, manage complex data ecosystems, and collaborate with World Vision counterparts to strengthen impact claims and donor trust.

Qualifications

• Lead the design and delivery of VisionFund's MERL across the network.
• Manage measurement architecture and data collection standards.
• Oversee client voice instruments and external research partnerships.
• Guide internal impact evaluations and evidence generation.
• Develop fundraising-oriented MERL designs for proposals.

Responsabilités

• Own the network monitoring & evaluation approach, including indicator architecture and reporting cadence.
• Design and interpret client voice surveys across the network with analytics support.
• Develop and maintain VisionFund's theory of change and test against emerging evidence.
• Lead MERL design for funding proposals and ensure resourcing for measurement commitments.
• Build cross-functional capacity and provide technical guidance to impact measurement staff.
