Job summary

World Wide Professional Solutions is seeking a Director, MEP Fitout Construction to lead the owner’s representation on a large-scale data center in Haskell, Texas. The role oversees MEP, safety, quality, schedule, cost, and risk across a multi-prime delivery framework.

This on-site, 100% commitment position targets a two-year assignment starting October 2026, with relocation incentives, per diem, travel support, and potential relocation packages offered.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive construction leadership experience.
• Experience delivering large scale data centers or mission critical facilities.
• Strong experience with complex MEP systems and owner-led delivery.
• Directly managed mechanical and electrical trade contractors in multi-prime setups.
• Proven ability to build safety culture and manage cost, schedule, and quality.
• Experience coordinating cross-disciplinary teams and commissioning.
• Leadership and stakeholder management at executive level.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership for mechanical and electrical fitout across a large scale data center project.
• Represent the Owner in engagement with trade contractors under a multi-prime strategy.
• Manage contractor performance with focus on safety, quality, schedule, cost, and risk.
• Establish and reinforce a strong site safety culture and leadership.
• Drive schedule execution for complex MEP installation, testing, turnover, and commissioning.
• Oversee construction of major MEP systems and interfaces with other trades.
• Lead coordination across all engineering and commissioning teams.
• Ensure interfaces between core/shell, MEP fitout, and infrastructure are well managed.
• Lead planning, sequencing, risk mitigation, and corrective actions.
• Maintain high installation quality and adherence to requirements and standards.
• Monitor trade cost performance, scheduling, and project risks.
• Support system turnover, testing, commissioning readiness, and startup.
• Provide executive reporting on progress, risk, and milestones.
• Foster relationships with Owner, trade contractors, design partners, and stakeholders.
• Champion Lean Construction practices to improve coordination and outcomes.
