Job summary

ASHP, a national pharmacy professional association, seeks a Director of Member Relations to oversee The Pharmacy Technician Society (TPTS). The role drives governance, strategy, and member engagement from our Washington, DC area offices with a hybrid work arrangement.

A pharmacist license and significant leadership experience are required. The position leads education programs, advocacy efforts, and cross-functional collaboration to advance technician practice, education, and workforce

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist with >5 years in healthcare associations or professional societies.
• Experience supporting or partnering with boards, committees and volunteers.
• Knowledge of association management principles and governance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as staff liaison to the TPTS Board of Directors and committees.
• Lead governance operations, elections, board meetings, policies and committee管理.
• Manage day-to-day operations aligning with strategic priorities and budgets.
• Develop and deliver member engagement, recruitment and retention initiatives.
• Oversee educational programs, resources and workforce development initiatives.
• Build external relationships with associations, employers, regulators and educators.
