Job summary

Vor Bio seeks a Director Medical Information to lead the MI function within Medical Affairs and prepare for its first regulatory approval and commercial launch. The role is primarily US-focused with global responsibilities, driving strategy, content governance, and compliant inquiries handling.

You will build a high-performing MI team, align with Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory, Commercial and IT, and report MI performance to MA leadership with KPIs and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, or equivalent) required.
• Director level: 10 years of experience with at least 5 years in MI or related MA roles.
• 3+ years in management or team leadership with direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end buildout of the MI function, including team, content, SOPs, and vendor ecosystem.
• Develop and execute the global MI strategy aligned with regulatory standards.
• Establish MI infrastructure, including channels, escalation pathways, and documentation.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and integration with pharmacovigilance and safety databases.
• Develop and maintain MI governance documents and SRD library.
• Drive implementation and optimization of emerging technologies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing MI team.
• Oversee MI quality assurance and data management practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support launches and lifecycle management.
• Monitor MI inquiries to inform MA, Commercial, and Regulatory teams.
