Acadia Pharmaceuticals Inc. seeks a Director of Content Development to lead medical content creation and scientific review across Medical Affairs.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely medical information for Acadia products and therapeutic areas. Responsibilities include oversight of content for scientific exchange, review of materials from Corporate Affairs, Investor Relations, Commercial and Medical Affairs, and providing guidance to MLR and MRC processes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Medical Affairs experience in pharma/biotech
• 5+ years in Scientific Communications or medical content functions
• Experience developing medical content for scientific exchange activities
• Experience with MLR/MRC review processes
• Literature searches and evaluating scientific literature
• Strong analytical skills translating data into communications
• Knowledge of pharma regulatory environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee development of medical content for scientific exchange (slides, booth content, digital materials)
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop content management plans
• Review materials for scientific accuracy across departments
• Coordinate with internal teams and external providers for material development and approval
• Evaluate literature, interpret data, and communicate to diverse audiences
• Prioritize resources and foster a culture of excellence and teamwork
• Maintain expert product knowledge, literature, guidelines, and strategic plans
• Provide timely scientific information to internal customers and support senior stakeholders
