Albertsons Companies in the United States is seeking a Director of Strategic Sourcing Meat, Own Brands to lead category strategy and supplier relationships across beef, pork and poultry. You will drive cost efficiency, negotiate terms, and mentor a team of sourcing professionals in a fast-paced environment.

You will partner with Merchandising, Replenishment, Finance, and Legal to align with business goals, comply with standards, and ensure continued supply while delivering value through private

Competenze

• Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in retail meat and poultry sourcing and procurement.
• Experience leading strategic sourcing professionals and managing teams.
• Strong knowledge of meat industry specifications and supply markets.

Mansioni

• Develop strategic sourcing plans for meat categories and negotiate with suppliers.
• Lead top-to-top meetings with internal teams and suppliers to identify opportunities.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure service levels meet targets.
• Recruit, hire and develop the Strategic Sourcing Department.
