Job summary

UF Health seeks a Director of Maternal Child Services in Florida to provide strategic leadership for the nursing service line, promote family-centered care, and ensure high clinical standards. You will drive program growth, coordinate with Administration, and oversee staffing, quality metrics, and patient experience.

Responsibilities include 24/7 operations, financial management, and governance of clinical practice to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN).
Active Florida RN license with current BLS/ACLS/NRP/STABLE and AWHONN certifications.
Experience directing nursing services or a healthcare service line.

Responsibilities

Provide overall direction and leadership for safe, effective and cost-efficient patient care.
Set vision and goals for the service line in collaboration with Administration and Medical Staff.
Direct staffing, scheduling and workforce optimization to meet patient needs.
Monitor quality, patient safety, outcomes and infection control measures.
Lead financial management including budgeting, revenue and expense oversight.
Foster learning, staff development and a patient-centered, family-focused culture.
