Job summary

UF Health is seeking a Director of Maternal Child Services to oversee the nursing service line with a focus on patient safety, quality and family-centered care. You will drive strategic growth, operational excellence, and staff development across 24/7 operations.

You will collaborate with nursing leadership to recruit, retain and coach staff while ensuring ethical practice and adherence to current standards. This role is based in Florida and requires an active RN license and BSN.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required.
Active Florida RN license and current BLS/ACLS/NRP/STABLE/AWHONN Basic & Intermediate certifications.

Responsibilities

Provide overall direction and leadership for safe, effective, and cost-efficient patient care within the Maternal Child Services line.
Establish service line vision, goals, and strategic plans with administration and clinical teams.
Oversee staffing, productivity, and staffing patterns to meet patient needs.
Monitor patient safety, clinical documentation, and multidisciplinary treatment plans.
Lead quality, safety, patient satisfaction, and financial performance initiatives.
Foster a positive learning environment and professional development for staff.
