Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Director of Materials Management to lead materials, supply chain, warehousing, and logistics across multiple functions from Richmond-area facilities.

The role directs a cross-disciplinary team and partners with project, engineering, and finance leaders to assure timely delivery of materials for critical infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will bring 12+ years in materials or supply chain management, with strong leadership, supplier management, and ERP/WMS

Qualifications

• Experience leading materials management and supply chain teams.
• Strong budget, cost control, and forecasting abilities.
• Experience with government contracts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end materials workflow from supplier to site.
• Lead materials, expediting, warehousing, inventory, and logistics teams.
• Set objectives and report performance to executives.
• Manage supplier performance and continuity.
• Ensure space, safety, and compliance standards.
