Director, Market and Regulatory Affairs, PJM

Join to apply for the Director, Market and Regulatory Affairs, PJM role at JERA Americas.

This position is REMOTE. The person in this role will be JERA Americas' lead specialist on PJM regulatory matters, representing the company at PJM Committees, industry associations, consultants, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities include reporting on market issues to internal teams, developing advocacy strategies, and engaging with regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities
  • Advise internal stakeholders on regulations and industry initiatives to align with company objectives.
  • Represent JERA Americas at PJM Committees and industry groups.
  • Report on market rule and policy discussions.
  • Develop and lead advocacy strategies supporting JERA's positions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with regulators and industry partners.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Operations, Finance, and Compliance teams.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and advocate for the company's interests.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, engineering, or public policy.
  • 5-10 years of regulatory experience within PJM.
  • Deep knowledge of PJM rules, protocols, and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA, JD, or graduate degree in Economics.
  • Experience in ISO or regulatory agencies, especially in SPP, MISO, ERCOT.
