Job summary

Lyons Magnus seeks a Director of Business Transformation to drive enterprise-wide operational improvement across manufacturing, supply chain, and finance. This hands-on leader will apply Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen, building business cases and KPIs to deliver measurable productivity and cost improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, operational excellence, or transformation.
• Minimum of 5 years leading continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record delivering quantified improvements in cost, productivity, labor, yield, throughput, or working capital.
• Strong Lean and Six Sigma knowledge with ability to build business cases.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from diagnosis through implementation.
• Willingness to spend meaningful time in manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational and continuous improvement initiatives across Lyons Magnus manufacturing, supply chain, warehousing, and other operations.
• Conduct hands-on assessments to identify bottlenecks, waste, capacity constraints, and inefficiencies.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, root-cause analysis, value-stream mapping and standard work to improve performance.
• Develop fact-based business cases translating opportunities into financial value.
• Establish operating metrics and routines to sustain improvements post-implementation.
• Build continuous improvement capabilities within operating teams.
• Partner with plant leadership to improve labor productivity, OEE, throughput, yield, inventory, and service.
• Define transformation roadmap and execute initiatives with measurable benefits.
• Lead cross-functional problem solving and solution implementation.
• Develop an M&A integration playbook and govern integration initiatives.
