Job summary

American Cancer Society is seeking a Major Gifts Officer for a remote role based in the Boston area. The selected candidate will cultivate relationships with volunteers, board members, foundations, and donors to build a strong major gifts portfolio.

You will manage 125–150 donors, create moves plans, and coordinate program data to craft proposals. Expect strong emphasis on donor stewardship and measurable fundraising results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5+ years proven track record of securing $100k+ gifts.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with volunteers, board members, foundations, and donors to grow a caseload of major givers.
• Manage a portfolio of 125–150 donors.
• Develop and execute moves management plans for qualified donors.
• Coordinate information from programs to create proposals and solicitations.
• Submit monthly reports reflecting caseload activity and performance.
