Purdue For Life Foundation seeks a Director of Development – Athletics to strategically manage a donor portfolio, lead fundraising efforts, and advance Purdue Athletics priorities. You will cultivate relationships, travel for donor engagements, and collaborate with Athletics colleagues to achieve annual and capital goals.

The role requires strong donor stewardship, a proven track record in major gifts, and a commitment to educating supporters about Purdue’s mission and programs.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of fundraising, sales, marketing, or donor relations experience.
• Athletic fundraising or sales experience preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with major gifts and donor stewardship.

Aufgaben

• Manage a portfolio of ~125 major gift donors and prospects and align with Purdue Athletics fundraising priorities.
• Secure a minimum of $3,000,000 annually in philanthropic support.
• Develop and execute donor strategies through face-to-face, virtual, and written communications.
• Supervise and mentor one Athletics Development staff member.
