You will contribute to the tax planning, due diligence, and post-merger integration for diverse transactional work across industries. The role demands a CPA/JD or equivalent with 7+ years in M&A tax at top firms.

Qualifications

• CPA certification and/or advanced tax degrees are required or highly preferred.
• Experience in mergers & acquisitions tax practices at Big 4 or similar firms is essential.
• Strong writing, analytical, research, Excel, and organizational skills are required.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and business development abilities are expected.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment with a team.
• Experience across multiple industries including healthcare, financial services, energy, tech and consumer products is valued.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of complex tax concepts and apply tax knowledge to client situations.
• Develop and deliver quality tax planning approaches with timely services and work product.
• Perform due diligence reviewing tax returns, financials, and related docs.
• Plan and execute post-merger integration strategies.
• Develop and deliver complex tax models and stock basis calculations.
• Review tax aspects of purchase agreements.
