Standex International is seeking a Director of Corporate Development to drive acquisition activity and portfolio optimization.

The role partners with finance, legal, and senior leaders to shape deal strategy, build valuation models, and manage end-to-end transactions, from sourcing to closing. A rigorous, self-directed professional with strong communication and leadership will thrive in this fast-paced, globally oriented team.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in corporate development or related M&A roles.
• Proven ability to source, structure, and close M&A deals in industrial sectors.
• Experience presenting to senior executives or a Board of Directors.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation experience (DCF, comps, precedent).

Responsibilities

• Build and grow a robust inorganic growth pipeline across Standex's segments.
• Develop a deal network with business owners, bankers, PE sponsors, and intermediaries.
• Lead end-to-end acquisition execution, including due diligence and closing.
• Create and stress-test valuation models with multiple scenarios.
• Support divestiture opportunities and sell-side processes.
• Prepare materials for Board and executive leadership.
• Standardize processes, diligence checklists, and templates.
• Collaborate with FP&A, legal, HR, and integration teams.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
