FTI Consulting’s Capital Advisors unit is seeking a Director to lead and grow capital raising and M&A engagements for middle-market clients. You will manage deal workstreams, coach junior members, and deliver sophisticated financial analyses and presentations to client executives.

The role emphasizes advanced modeling, market assessment, and strategic positioning across transactions, with opportunities to expand leadership and client coverage within a global advisory platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of post-graduate experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Lending or Private Credit.
• Investment Banking Licenses: SIE, Series 79 & 63.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of capital raising and M&A engagements while managing core workstreams.
• Lead preparation of analyses and materials, including financial models and valuations.
• Perform detailed financial, industry, and market analysis for clients and opportunities.
• Build and refine intermediate financial models and valuation analyses in Excel.
• Synthesize industry research, market sizing, benchmarking and strategic assessments.
• Identify target buyers, lenders, investors, or buy-side targets.
• Oversee data room management and diligence response coordination.
• Contribute to proposals and client-facing deliverables, guiding junior team members.
