Job summary

indiGO Auto Group is seeking a Director of Real Estate Development to lead dealership development projects, expansions, relocations, and OEM-driven renovations from concept through handover. You will coordinate internal teams, OEM partners, consultants, and contractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery that aligns with brand standards.

The role requires strong budgeting, procurement, and stakeholder management across multiple states, with travel across the U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in real estate development, construction management, owner's representation, or corporate real estate.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex development and construction projects.
• Experience managing architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of dealership development projects, facility expansions, relocations, and OEM-driven facility upgrades from concept through completion and handover to operations.
• Act as the primary interface with OEM real estate and facility teams and manage project approvals.
• Develop project budgets and capital expenditure forecasts and monitor expenditures.
• Lead contractor and consultant selection, bidding activities, and procurement strategies.
• Manage entitlement, zoning, permitting, and regulatory approvals with municipalities.
• Oversee construction activities, monitor schedule and quality, and resolve issues.
• Provide regular project reporting to executive leadership and manage risks.
• Lead project close-out and transition into dealership operations with complete handover.
