Job summary

Community Foodbank of New Jersey seeks a Director, Talent & Workforce Strategy to shape learning and workforce development across the organization. You will identify capability gaps, develop scalable programs, and drive a culture of continuous learning that aligns with CFBNJ’s mission.

You’ll lead onboarding, leadership development, succession planning, and performance management while leveraging data to measure impact and guide improvements. Strong collaboration with senior leaders is essential.

Qualifications

10+ years in learning & development, talent development, organizational development, or HR

Responsibilities

Develop enterprise-wide learning and development strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Design and lead leadership development, succession planning, career development, and performance management programs.
Build AI workforce capability through AI literacy programs and role-based learning pathways.
Assess workforce gaps and implement scalable learning solutions.
Oversee onboarding, mentoring, coaching, and knowledge-sharing programs.
Use workforce data and analytics to measure program effectiveness and improve outcomes.
Partner with senior leaders to align talent initiatives with business needs.
Lead the L&D function including team management, budgets, vendors, platforms, and partnerships.
