Columbia Law School’s Center for Law and the Economy (CLE) is seeking a Director of Student Programming to lead a nationwide student network, expand education, and provide mentorship and professional development opportunities.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director will lead strategic planning, manage staff and fellows, supervise budgeting, and act as the primary liaison to law schools and student organizations nationwide.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required; JD or advanced degree preferred.
• 5–7 years of work experience in legal, academic, or organizing fields.
• Experience owning strategic programs and evaluating portfolios.
• Proven personnel management and budgeting experience.
• Independent decision-making authority; strong professional judgment.
• Ability to establish partnerships with law schools and student organizations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and collaborative.

Responsabilidades

• Lead nationwide student-programming portfolio and set annual priorities.
• Make independent decisions on day-to-day program administration and awards.
• Manage relationships with a nationwide network of law schools and student groups.
• Develop and oversee the student-programming budget and resource allocation.
• Supervise program staff, fellows, externs, and student workers.
• Establish evaluation frameworks and track portfolio outcomes.
