Job summary

BGE, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Director of Land Development to lead single family, subdivision and master-planned project execution, including paving, grading, drainage and utilities.

You will drive growth of the Land Development practice, manage a team of PMs, engineers and CAD staff, and oversee client invoicing and reporting while collaborating with cities and counties on public and private infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Texas P.E. registration (Professional Engineer).
• 15+ years in civil engineering with residential master-planned development.
• Strong business development experience for private single-family land development.
• Experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, HEC-HMS, StormCAD or similar.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with cities/municipalities or counties is preferred.
• Experience with private land development projects with cities, municipalities, and counties.

Responsibilities

• Direct responsibility for business development and leading execution of plans for single family, subdivision, master-planned developments and related infrastructure.
• Lead growth of the Land Development practice.
• Project management reporting and client invoicing.
• Manage team of Project Managers, Engineers, and CAD Techs.
• Other duties as assigned.
