BGE, Inc. is seeking a Director of Land Development to be based in Austin, TX. The role leads the land development practice, drives business development, and oversees multi-discipline project teams for residential master-planned communities.

The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of civil engineering experience, Texas PE, and strong collaboration with municipalities to deliver paving, drainage, water, and sewer systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Texas (PE).
• 15+ years of civil engineering experience with residential master-planned development.
• Strong business development experience for private single-family land development.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, HEC-HMS, and StormCAD or equivalent modeling software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with cities/municipalities or counties is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct responsibility for business development and leading execution of plans and specifications for land development projects.
• Lead growth of the Land Development practice.
• Oversee project management reporting and client invoicing.
• Manage a team of Project Managers, Engineers, and CAD Technicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
