Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, SC seeks an experienced laboratory leader to oversee the clinical division. A Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or MLS is required, along with ASCP certification and seven years of lab experience (five in leadership).

Lead core lab operations, microbiology, and blood bank activities; oversee phlebotomy oversight and CAP accreditation readiness in collaboration with hospital teams and physicians.

Credential Requirements:

• Certified through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP)

Professional Experience Requirements:

• Seven (7) years of experience in lab; Five (5) years’ experience in leadership

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

• Strong generalist lab knowledge and skill to include core lab, microbiology, and blood bank. Able to work in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment. Interpersonal communication skills necessary to work with hospital team members, physicians, patients, and community professionals. Experience with phlebotomy oversight preferred. Experience with CAP accreditation expected.
