Job summary

You will lead laboratory staff, shape workflows, manage budgets and procurement, implement new technologies, and ensure safety and compliance while fostering a collaborative, high-performance research environment. The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and experience directing mid-to-large research

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a relevant technical field (industry or academia).
• 8+ years with a Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years with a PhD in a relevant field.
• Experience leading mid-to-large teams with objective achievement and skill-building.
• Experience with operational management, budgeting, stakeholder and resource management.

Responsibilities

• Oversees laboratory research and directs activities with the PI, providing supervision to staff.
• Provides direction and supervision to laboratory staff.
• Develops laboratory policies and SOPs to support efficient operations; evaluates workflows and implements corrective actions; develops quality control processes.
