Job summary

The Jewish Board in New York seeks a Culinary Service Director to provide strategic leadership for kosher, therapeutic, and nutritionally managed meal services across the Mishkon IDD Division. You will lead culinary staff, collaborate with dieticians, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory readiness in a multi-site environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Service Management, Nutrition, Hospitality (or equivalent experience)
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations
• Experience managing staff across multiple locations

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliant meal service across all programs and menus
• Lead and support culinary staff and services across divisions
• Ensure Kashrut compliance, dietary needs, and regulatory readiness
• Develop protocols, workflows, and dashboards for quality and budget tracking
• Monitor inventory, purchasing, and cost controls to reduce waste
