Job summary

Humana Inc. seeks a Director, IT Portfolio Management to align the IT portfolio with business strategy and demand. You will organize and prioritize programs based on strategy, budgets, and schedules, and ensure resources are allocated to achieve goals.

You will collaborate with senior leaders to drive performance, deliver metrics, and influence large-scale initiatives across technology and operations while maintaining relentless focus on member experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree required.
• 8+ years of technical experience.
• 5+ years of management experience.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders.
• Advanced experience leading special projects and producing metrics, measurements and trend reports.

The Director, IT Portfolio Management requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across the function or segment.The Director, IT Portfolio Management organizes and prioritizes projects and programs based on IT Strategy, strategic roadmap, available and prioritized budgets, changes schedules and ensures that the appropriate financial and organizational support is being allocated in support of those goals. Decisions are typically related to the implementation of new/updated programs or large-scale projects for the function and supporting technical/operational procedures and processes, and implements strategic plans, drives goals and objectives, and improves performance.
