Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC is seeking a Director of IT Operations & Security in Pittsburgh. This leadership role manages enterprise technology operations, security programs, and infrastructure strategy to support the Firm’s business objectives and regulatory requirements.

The Director collaborates with the CIO and senior leaders, drives cost-effective budgeting, and mentors staff. A hybrid work model and comprehensive benefits are offered to support stability and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• At least 10 years in IT operations and security, with 5+ in leadership.
• Experience in a law firm or professional services is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001/27701, NIST, or SOC 2.
• Excellent communication skills and leadership ability.
• Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT Security, Infrastructure, and Operations teams with strategic direction.
• Oversee enterprise security program and risk management with KPIs.
• Define and execute the IT roadmap for hybrid cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Collaborate with CIO and senior leaders on policy, budget, and governance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and data privacy across the firm.
